Light the Night

It's on again - Light the Night in Brisbane

Come together with friends, families and work colleagues to light a lantern and join us on a sunset walk to support blood cancer patients.

Wednesday 5 October 2011 from 5.00pm

Each coloured lantern contains a tiny light and has a special meaning:

White for blood cancer patients and survivors

Blue for supporters

Gold for those remembering a loved one lost

You must register by 5pm 4 October 2011 to receive your free lantern at the Pre-Registered Walkers tent, including all team members.

If you don't register before 5pm 4 October you can pay $5 on the night to receive your lantern. If you don’t wish to buy a lantern, you are welcome to walk without one.

Timetable:

5:00pm – Lantern collections open and entertainment

6:40pm – Onstage program of events and lantern lighting ceremony

7:00pm – Light The Night Walk

Facilities:

Food and drinks available to purchase; public amenities available.

Come along and join in. I'll be carrying my white balloon and hopefully a gold one for Clare. Hope others can join me.
