Had my 2nd Immuno Globulin infusion yesterday. No reaction!! They gave me the other product this time and Leanne (Day Oncology Nurse also known as LC) gave me the drip slower to start with and gradually built up to the speed it was supposed to be administered. Was out of there at 1.20pm with no extra paper work for them to complete. Celebrations all round!!
Also found out my platelet count is up to 92!! Celebrating this too! 7 weeks ago it was 75! Apparently the infusions help this too! Haven't been sick, had sinus too badly or any other problems since getting rid of the shingles and having the first infusion. Not celebrating too much too soon, as I need to wait and see, but small happy dance being done here!
